Designed by the famous Filipino architect Angel Nakpil, who also designed the National Press Club
in Manila, the Blue Mosque exhibits a geometrical design, drawing inspiration from Córdoba in Spain.
As one of the oldest mosques in Metro Manila, its blue hues, spacious interior, and nostalgic
architecture narrate stories of tradition and reverence.
The Blue Mosque is thoughtfully planned, featuring a carpeted prayer hall divided into areas
for men and women, wudu areas, a conference room, three madrasa classrooms, a library,
a clinic, dormitory rooms, a secretariat, and the Imam’s Office.
A true testament to the religious tolerance and harmony within the Philippines, the Blue Mosque
regularly hosts both Filipino & non-Filipino Muslims for worship. The community around the
mosque is known for its safety, welcoming atmosphere, and well-maintained environment.
During major events like Eid prayers, the sense of belonging and unity is palpable,
creating a bond that transcends cultural differences.
