Over 200,000 students from Taguig City's public schools will be receiving a full set of new uniforms.

The city government of Taguig initiated the distribution across various schools in the city, with Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano leading the handover at Bagumbayan National High School in M. L. Quezon, Bagumbayan, Taguig. (Click the video below)



"From the moment you were in kindergarten, through elementary school, the K-to-12 system, and all the way until you graduate from senior high school, at every step of the way, you have felt the love of the local government, you have felt the TLC of Taguig," said Cayetano.

Hannah Moises, a Grade 11 student from Bagumbayan National High School, stated that this assistance is a significant help to their family as her parents no longer have to worry about buying a new uniform.

"It's even better now because there are people who are really struggling financially. Here in Taguig, we can expect that everything, including uniforms and shoes, is free. Everyone is given the opportunity to study properly and comfortably," said Moises.

The city government of Taguig sent tailors to each school to ensure that the uniforms fit the students.
