An operation was conducted by the personnel of Substation 9 of Taguig City Police on MLQ Street corner Samaba, New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City at around 2:40 in the morning of December 5, which resulted in the arrest of the suspect known as Alex, 29.
Taguig Police were patrolling the area when they chanced upon the suspect carrying two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance, later identified as shabu weighing 30 grams.
Alex now faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Dangerous Drugs Act.
He is currently detained at the Station Custodial Facility of Taguig City Police Station.
