The rider, a kitchen staff member and resident of Taguig, was reported to have strayed from his lane and into the oncoming traffic, leading to the collision with an approaching truck.
The rider was thrown from his motorcycle, leading to severe injuries that resulted in his immediate death.
The truck driver, known only as Jeffrey, 39 years old, has been taken into police custody and is being prepared for a charge of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
