Alias Elwood, a 29-year-old truck driver, had not yet cleaned up when he was served an arrest warrant by the Taguig police around 7:30 in the morning at his hideout in Barangay Central Signal.
Elwood is facing six rape cases in the court of Lemery, Batangas.
These charges are all related to the violation of Republic Act 11648 or "An Act Providing for Stronger Protection Against Rape and Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, Increasing the Age for Determining the Commission of Statutory Rape."
The six warrants of arrest were issued by Judge Mary Jane Valeza-Maranan, Presiding Judge of the Fourth Judicial Region, Regional Trial Court, Branch 5, Lemery Batangas, on January 11, 2024.
Elwood will remain in jail while his cases are being heard as no bail has been recommended by the court.
Elwood is second on the list of Top Most Wanted Persons at the district level of the Taguig Police.
