Overall, the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) in the BAR was peaceful, and no election failures were recorded.

According to Acorda, "this is a testament of collective efforts and your commitment to go beyond your comfort zone outside the confines of the NCRPO. The successful conduct of BSKE 2023 is another vibrant chapter in the PNP's story legacy of public service. We have once again showcased our unrelenting passion to serve and protect our communities. Ensuring the voice of the people is unequivocally heard, the voice of the people is the supreme law."

Col. Hector Grijaldo, Contingent Commander, accepted the Medal of Merit (PNP Medal of Merit) on behalf of his 298 troop members.

This award is for their maintenance of peace and security in the BAR during the BSKE on October 30, 2023.

Despite the deaths of two individuals in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte before the voting; one death in Maguindanao del Sur; and one candidate for barangay chairperson shot in Lanao del Sur, the PNP still considers the overall election in the BAR to be peaceful and successful, especially since this count is lower compared to previous elections and there was no declared failure of election.

The BAR covers Maguindanao, Lanao del Sur, and 63 barangays in the province of Cotabato, and Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Basilan, excluding Isabela City.
