Three men have fallen into the hands of the Southern Police District due to illegal drugs. The trio is alleged to be involved in drug trafficking in Barangay Lower Bicutan, Taguig City.

The District Drug Enforcement Unit conducted an operation on VP Cruz, Purok 5 at 12:05 in the morning on December 9. The three men arrested were a 43-year-old known as Liza, previously sentenced in a drug-related case; a 54-year-old named Samson, a high-value individual known for drug dealing; and a 41-year-old named Abdul, also listed as a high-value drug pusher.

Through the joint operation of the SPD, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), and Substation 10 of the Taguig City Police, four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets filled with a white crystal-like substance suspected to be shabu (methamphetamine) were seized.

The weight of the confiscated drugs is estimated at 100.10 grams, valued at approximately ₱680,680.00. One genuine ₱1000 bill and four bundles of boodle money used in the buy-bust operation, along with a cellphone, were also recovered.

The three suspects will face charges for violating Sections 5, 11, and 26 related to Section 5 under Article II of Republic Act 9166, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
