Yesterday, September 30, the City Government of Taguig granted Transfer Certificates of Title and Free Patent Titles to the program beneficiaries at the Taguig City Auditorium, which was also part of the Lands Anniversary celebration.
"Taguig is unique in having a One Stop Shop for national agencies responsible for processing documents for titles. This program is the result of our vigorous coordination with the national government to expedite the long process of land titling," said Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano in a post on her social media page.
She also assured that the titles for the next batch of beneficiaries are being processed and are expected to be distributed before the end of the year.
The Handog Titulo Program is anchored on the government policy of providing land to the landless.
