For the past nine years, Bahay Pag-Asa has been providing shelter to children in conflict with the law, serving as an alternative home for these youths.

Bahay Pag-Asa celebrated its ninth anniversary on July 13, 2024, under the theme "Strengthening Bonds, Inspiring Change."

Established in 2015, the haven for "Children in Conflict with the Law" (CICL) creates a home-like environment for its residents, thanks to the dedicated efforts of its staff under the authority of the Taguig City Government.

During the celebration, notable residents and staff of Bahay Pag-Asa were honored with awards such as Resident of the Month, A Note of Kindness, Cleanest Dorm Award, and Employee of the Year. The residents of Bahay Pag-Asa showcased their talents in singing and dancing.

In her speech, Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano expressed her hopes for the bright future of the children and extended her gratitude to the staff of Bahay Pag-Asa for their unwavering dedication to transforming the lives of the children.

"Many youths have been taken under the wing of Bahay Pag-Asa. The greatest source of joy for the local government of Taguig is to see each child who leaves the care of Bahay Pag-Asa on a better path, leading a more successful and peaceful life on their way to fulfilling their dreams," Cayetano said.

The Mayor also stated that everyone has the capacity to change and that the Taguig City Government would continue to provide opportunities for those who need them.
