Two foreign individuals accused of child abuse are set to be deported from the country, one of whom was arrested in Taguig City.

According to the Bureau of Immigration (BI), they arrested a British national identified as 50-year-old Ryan Ashley in SM Aura at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig on October 16, 2024, when he attempted to extend his tourist visa.

Ashley is listed as a sex offender and has been convicted in the United Kingdom in 1994 and 2002 due to several cases of sexual abuse, including the rape of minors.

Ashley has been brought to the BI Detention Facility in Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig as his deportation is prepared.

On the same day, October 16, 2024, 76-year-old American pedophile Joseph John Graham was arrested at Clark International Airport in Angeles City, Pampanga.

A warrant of arrest was issued against Graham by the 19th judicial court of Indian River County in Florida where he faces 55 cases of child pornography.

Upon inspection of Graham's mobile phone by arresting authorities, numerous sex abuse materials were found, including photos of naked Filipino children, some as young as three years old.

It was discovered that Graham frequently travels to the Philippines. Although he has been ordered to be deported and is blacklisted by the BI, he will remain in the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) while additional charges against him are prepared.
