The 30-day toll holiday on Cavitex was a result of an announcement by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to suspend toll collection on the said expressway for a month.
This is based on the approval of the Toll Regulatory Board's recommendation from the Philippine Reclamation Authority to temporarily suspend toll collection from July 1 for the benefit of motorists passing through.
Starting today, July 31, 2024, toll collection on Cavitex will resume as announced by the management of the expressway, reminding motorists to ensure that their RFID cards have sufficient balance for uninterrupted travel.
