Taguig City Government recently presented one hundred thousand pesos to a senior woman from Barangay Santa Ana, Taguig City, who celebrated her 100th birthday.
Maria Adoracion Juta received her P100,000 as a birthday gift from the City Government, a gesture extended to all senior citizens of Taguig who celebrate their 100th birthdays.

All centenarian men and women living in Taguig continue to receive P100,000 on each of their subsequent birthdays for as long as they live.
Meanwhile, all senior citizens of Taguig receive a birthday cash gift of between P3,000 to P10,000, depending on their age bracket, as per City Ordinance No. 25 series of 2017.
Those aged 60-69 receive P3,000; 70-79 year olds receive P4,000; 80-89 year olds receive P5,000, and those aged 90-99 receive P10,000.
The Taguig City Government provides additional services for senior citizens, such as free diabetes, high blood pressure and asthma medication; free nursing services in their homes; and free wheelchairs, canes, and hearing aids.
