Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano led the opening ceremony of the park, which is open to the public for free, not just to residents of Taguig, but also to visitors from other areas.
"This night is also a night of giving thanks to our Lord, who is the center of our Christmas celebration. Thanks be to God for giving such a beautiful gift to the city of Taguig - it is His continual blessings, progress, and programs that can be felt by every resident of Taguig," Cayetano said at the opening of TLC Park.
The park also features art installations by Taguig artists and their friends, and a play of lights that resembles the aurora borealis where lights are focused on the sky showing various colors.
Senator Alan Peter Cayetano also attended the opening of Christmas by the Lake in Taguig.
"We're not only welcoming the Christmas season but we are inching our way to 2025. And in 2025, we'll have many New Year's resolutions. Hopefully, one of our resolutions will be - I should be helpful. If I can't help, at least I shouldn't harm," the senator said.

Last year, the park had a peak visitor count of around 27,000. Due to this, Taguig City has heightened the security at the park, with the help of the Taguig City Police.
The city government of Taguig is also considering the addition of rides for the next Christmas by the Lake in Taguig.
