The child recognized for her exceptional painting skills and known as the "gifted child" in a commercial for children's milk twenty-five years ago has passed away at the age of 36.

CJ de Silva-Ong, a visual artist and creative director for an advertising agency, who was recognized as the gifted child in Promil's commercial in the 1990s, passed away on the morning of June 18, 2024, due to stroke.

According to her husband Wincy Ong, a musician and writer, CJ fought back after suffering two stroke attacks while in the intensive care unit of a hospital.

"She was a loving wife to me, a caring cat-mother to our cats Andres and Max, and a loving daughter to her parents and uncle," said Wincy in his Facebook post. "She used her talents in illustration and painting to champion causes close to her heart."

CJ's remains can be viewed at The Heritage Park in Taguig City starting today, June 20, until June 22, 2024.

"She always told me she wanted a funeral that was fun and not so serious. Let's celebrate her 36 amazing years on this planet by filling it with things that made her happy--music, conversations, coffee, and good food," concluded her husband Wincy.

CJ's remains will be cremated on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
