SC Associate Justice Jose Midas Marquez has stated that the land, located in Barangay Bambang in Bulacan, will be the site not only for the SC building but also for the Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan, and Court of Tax Appeals. The construction is set to begin next year or in 2026.

The land is part of a 100-hectare donation by SMAI, the infrastructure company of San Miguel Corporation, to the government for the Government Center in Bulacan.

SMAI is in agreement with the government to develop, construct, operate, and maintain the New Manila International Airport (NMIA).
