The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced the 11 semifinalists for the 'Outstanding Public Officials and Employees' (Dangal ng Bayan Award) in the 2024 Search for Outstanding Government Workers.
The CSC is requesting the public's help in selecting the worthy candidates for recognition, who work within government, by providing comments from August 12th until the 16th of this year.

"While we have concluded the call for feedback for the Presidential Lingkod Bayan and CSC Pagasa awards of the 2024 Search for Outstanding Government Workers, we still need your participation in ensuring that we choose the best Dangal ng Bayan candidates. These nominees have consistently displayed exemplary and ethical behavior in the face of risk or temptation inherent in their work and will stand as exemplary role models for all civil servants," said CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles.
The semifinalists for the Dangal ng Bayan Award are as follows (in alphabetical order):

The Dangal ng Bayan Award is given to an individual who has displayed excellence or unique performance in public service and consistently shows excellence in behavior and performance of duties as stated in Republic Act (R.A.) No. 6713 or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.
Under this law, the eight benchmarks are: strict response to public interest, professionalism, fairness and sincerity, non-partisanship, immediate response to the public, patriotism, upholding democracy and simple living.
