According to the announcement from several major oil companies, the price of diesel will increase by P2.70 per liter, gasoline will rise by P2.65 per liter, and kerosene will go up by P2.60 per liter starting tomorrow, October 15, 2024.

Rodela Romero, director of the Department of Energy (DOE) Oil Industry Management Bureau, has said that there are currently tight supplies of diesel and gasoline in our region. This is due to unexpected production cuts in Indonesia and Malaysia, in addition to several ongoing maintenance activities at refineries.

Just last week, prices had already increased by P1.20 per liter for diesel and P0.70 per liter for kerosene.
