On his 11th death anniversary, his partner Zsa Zsa Padilla visited his gravesite at the Heritage Park in Taguig City and laid down flowers. The actress-singer posted on her Instagram account, asking for prayers for Dolphy. "Today is the 11th death anniversary of Dolphy. Please say a little prayer for him," Zsa Zsa wrote in her post.
Dolphy passed away on July 10, 2012, at the age of 83 due to complications from pneumonia, which was a complication of his chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and chronic renal disease.
Meanwhile, Dolphy's TV family from "Home Along Da Riles," a 1990s sitcom, also reunited to commemorate the anniversary of his death. Boy2 Quizon, Vandolph, Claudine Barretto, Smokey Manaloto, Gio Alvarez, and Maybelyn dela Cruz gathered to reminisce their joyful moments with their "Tatay Kevin."
