Mendoza assured that their investigation continues and that the red car is on alert.

The pair have been instructed to appear at the LTO office on East Avenue, Quezon City on September 3, 2024, to explain why they should not be punished.
The driver faces charges of reckless driving, failure to comply with the appropriate course of action when a driver is involved in an accident, and being unfit to drive a vehicle, according to the LTO.
Prior to this, the MMDA planned to charge the driver with attempted homicide as Sadiua's life was put at risk.

The LTO stated that according to the police investigation, the red car hit a motorcycle on the East Service Road near the Nichols-Philippine National Railway Station in Taguig City last Tuesday.
The motorcycle rider positioned his vehicle in front of the red car, feeling that the driver was about to escape. The red car hit the motorcycle again and fled.
However, Sadiua spotted the incident and attempted to stop the car's driver. The driver ignored him and continued to escape, dragging the traffic enforcer who was forced to cling onto the car's hood.
The traffic enforcer was carried for about 500 meters before he could get off the hood when the car slowed down due to traffic. As soon as the enforcer got off, the red car sped away again.
