An alleged official of a communist terrorist group, who had a bounty of PHP 280,000 on her head, has recently been arrested by authorities in Barangay Central Signal Village, Taguig City. (See video below)



The arrested woman, known to the communist group by her aliases Yvonne, Sam, and Ayang, has long been wanted by law enforcement and is listed in the Department of National Defense and Department of Interior and Local Government Memorandum of Wanted Persons. (See video below)





Alias Yvonne was apprehended by the combined forces of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), the Philippine National Police (PNP), and the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA).

The suspect held a prominent position within Sub-Regional Military Area 4D (SRMA 4D), also known as the Islacom Mindoro/Lucio De Guzman Command of the Southern Tagalog Regional Party Committee (STRPC). She is reported to have occupied several influential positions within the communist organization operating in Mindoro.

Alias Yvonne is facing numerous charges, including murder, multiple attempted murders, and theft.

PNP Chief General Benjamin Acorda Jr. praised the dedication and diligence of the law enforcement personnel in their actions to apprehend Alias Yvonne and maintain peace and security in the country.

"The successful capture of this high-ranking CTG member is a testament to the unwavering determination and relentless pursuit of our law enforcement agencies to bring justice to the victims of CTG-related crimes. We will continue to work tirelessly to apprehend individuals who threaten the safety and security of our nation. This operation sends a clear message to all criminal elements that the Philippine National Police remains resolute in upholding the rule of law," said Acorda.

Acorda added that the arrest of Alias Yvonne is a reminder that the Philippine government is serious about eliminating threats to the country's security to ensure the safety of its citizens.
