Currently, 37-year-old Seo Jungchul is being held at the BI Detention Facility in Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City, following a 2019 deportation order.

Seo was apprehended in the Clark Freeport Zone in Angeles City, Pampanga on October 7, 2024, under a warrant of arrest issued by the Seoul Central District Court in 2017 following his conviction for violations of their country's narcotics control act.

Information from South Korean authorities reveals that Seo was involved in buying, consuming, and selling Philopon, a type of methamphetamine frequently abused in Korea.

Seo's name appears on the Interpol red notice, and his passport has been voided. It is expected that Seo will be deported back to South Korea as soon as possible.
