Meanwhile, diesel has accumulated an increase of P9.40 per liter from January to November 12. On the contrary, kerosene has seen a net decrease of P1.40 per liter.
On Tuesday, November 25, the price of gasoline increased again by P1.15 per liter, diesel by P1.10 per liter, and kerosene by P0.80 per liter.
Last week, the price of gasoline dropped by P0.85, diesel by P0.75, and kerosene by P0.90.
Prior to this, the Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau (DOE-OIMB) stated that the increase in prices of petroleum products this week is due to escalating tensions between Ukraine and Russia, specifically the risk of shutting down plants in Russia and the cessation of oil production in Norway.
