Several customers of the e-wallet service have complained that their money transfer transactions made on November 22, 2024, are not showing up.

"Bank Transfer to GCash will be right back! BancNet is working to restore the service as soon as possible," stated a post on GCash's Facebook account.

GCash assures that any deductions made from customers' accounts due to the Bancnet issue will be refunded within one to two days.

"If your bank account was debited, kindly expect your money to be credited to your GCash wallet within 24 to 48 hours," GCash pledged.

Earlier, BPI, BDO, and Landbank released advisories related to problems with transferring money to GCash.

As an assurance, BPI temporarily removed GCash from the list of banks that can transfer money through Instapay on the BPI app and BPI online.

BDO and Landbank did the same with their Send Money to GCash feature.

Just last week, GCash also faced issues when some of its customers experienced deductions or lost money through unauthorized transactions. According to G-Xchange Incorporated, the operator of GCash, this was due to a system error.
