"Each one of you has unique abilities and talents that can contribute to our society. Participate in workshops and learn new skills that can assist your job search. We also want to let you know that you are not alone in your journey. We are here to support you and help you achieve your dreams and ambitions," said PDAO Head Helario Supaz.

One of those given the opportunity is Elaine Javar, a 27-year-old from Barangay South Signal with hearing impairment.

"I am really grateful and happy to attend this job fair for us persons with disabilities. I had a hard time looking for a job for 2 years. Now, I can pursue my dream jobs like being a service crew member, customer service representative, and barista," according to Javar.

The event coincided with the commemoration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, with the theme "Amplifying the Leadership of Persons with Disabilities for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future."
