The annual sports fest was launched at the Barangay Upper Bicutan Multi-Purpose Building as part of the celebrations for Councilors' Week 2024 in Taguig City yesterday, September 6, 2024.

The event, titled Konsi-lympics, was organized by the City Council, promoting unity, camaraderie, and sportsmanship among public servants.

In the opening ceremony, Vice Mayor Arvin Alit encouraged everyone to unite.

"Not division, but unity among the employees of SP, from the Office of the Mayor, the secretariats, the employees, and staff of the 1st and 2nd District," according to Alit.

Four teams from the Office of the Vice Mayor, SP Secretariat, District 1, and District 2 competed.

This two-day event is connected to the Philippine Councilors Week celebration, which has the theme "PCL: Sustainable Development through Food and Water Security."
