Applications for the Lifeline Assistance for Neighbors In-Need (LANI) Scholarship for the second semester of school year 2023-2024 are being accepted until February 29, 2024. Follow this link to apply: https://bit.ly/LANI2ndSemSY-23-24

The LANI Scholarship Program offers seven types of scholarships, providing financial assistance from P15,000 to P110,000 per year. Allowances are distributed each semester, and scholars achieving a semester-weighted average of 88.75 will receive an additional P5,000.

To qualify, an applicant must be enrolled in school. If 18 years old or older, the applicant must be an active voter of Taguig or the EMBO (enlisted men's barrio) where they reside (proof required via voter certification), have one or both parents as active voters of Taguig or EMBO, the family must have been residents of Taguig or EMBO for a minimum of three years, and the applicant must demonstrate good moral character.

The following documents must be submitted (PHOTOCOPIES ONLY):

• Certified or authenticated copy of Official Form/Registration Form/Certificate of Matriculation for school year 2023-2024 (2nd semester)
• Original/Authenticated or True Copy of Grades (original) from the previous semester, with school seal or official signature
• Official receipt or proof of payment for those in private schools and the COE/COE is not authenticated
• Junior High School card/diploma/certification from the principal for new applicants
• Senior High School card/diploma/certification from the principal for new applicants
• School ID or any valid government-issued ID (back-to-back copy on a single paper only)
• Certificate of Academic Excellence/certification from principal for the top 10 graduates of public high school in Taguig or EMBO barangays (for honor scholars)
• Birth Certificate

The following original documents must also be submitted, but authenticated copies will also be accepted:

• Official Registration Form for the school year being applied for
• Official receipt or proof of payment for those studying in private schools and the COR/COE is not authenticated
• School ID or any valid government-issued ID

The following documents are also needed:

• Elementary Form 137 for those who graduated from elementary school in schools outside Metro Manila
• High School Form 137 for those who completed high school outside Metro Manila
• Course curriculum/curriculum checklist for those enrolled in less than 15 units
• PDAO endorsement and ID for priority/PWD scholars
• EVS or ESC Voucher/Certification for EVS or ESC graduates
• Application for graduation/Certificate of Candidacy for Graduation (if graduating in the current semester)
• Transcript of Records (if required)
• Original copy and a photocopy of the Comelec stub issued during the last election for newly registered applicants and those applying for reactivation
