Personnel from the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) who have been suffering from long-term illnesses or disabilities, along with student children from Bahay Bulilit Day Care Center, were provided with assistance and gifts by the PNP PLC Foundation, Incorporated through their initiative called Love and Blessing or LAB Virus. This event took place at the National Capital Region Police Office, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City on August 20, 2024.
The Philippine National Police Officers' Ladies Club Foundation, Incorporated (PNP-OLCFI), led by its advisor Mary Rose P. Marbil, wife of PNP Chief General Rommel Francisco Marbila, and president Leilani S. Alba, launched the LAB Virus initiative, aimed at spreading love by offering assistance. This event was held at the Hinirang Multi-purpose Hall of the NCRPO.
The NCRPO personnel suffering from long-term illnesses were provided with cash and other forms of assistance. "This gesture served as a powerful reminder of the organization's dedication to looking after its own. Through these acts of kindness and solidarity, the NCRPO continues to strengthen its bond with the community and its commitment to the well-being of its members," stated the released statement of the NCRPO PIO.
Meanwhile, student children from Bahay Bulilit Day Care Center received school supplies and other necessities for their studies. This followed a performance by the children during the event.
