The suspect, known as Francis, was found with 16 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, estimated to be worth ₱108,000.
The Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Taguig City Police, which conducted the buy-bust operation, reported that the undercover drug purchase took place at 6:30 in the morning of December 30 at Road 39, Barangay North Daang Hari.
Confiscated from Francis were 11 plastic sachets containing white crystal-like substance, the ₱200 buy-bust money, and a mobile phone.
The suspect will face charges for violating Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of Republic Act 9165, while the confiscated evidence has been turned over to the Southern Police District forensic unit for chemical analysis.
