Nectar Nightclub invites everyone to join the last nights of its operation, following the announcement of the Bonifacio Global City to close The Fort Strip in BGC, Taguig City, starting on January 1, 2025.
The said nightclub, a popular place of enjoyment for the LGBTQIA Plus community, holds nightly parties. They have dubbed the event on December 30, 2024, as the Last Dance, and will host a New Year's Eve Party on December 31, 2024.
Nectar Nightclub started in 2016, at a time when drag theaters or comedy bars were popular. Since its establishment, a Pride rainbow flag has been displayed in front of the club, symbolizing it as a safe space for the LGBTQIA Plus community.
Drag shows only began at Nectar Nightclub when American drag queen Alaska performed there. It has since become a platform for Filipino drag novices.
Marina Summers, Minty Fresh, and Odasha were discovered there.
The owner of Nectar Nightclub assured their return to the club scene in spite of the impending closure of The Fort Strip in BGC.
