A building that will serve as an evacuation center during times of disaster or catastrophe was recently inaugurated in Barangay Ibayo-Tipas.
The opening of the facility was led by Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano. The building also has various uses - as a playground, meeting place, and more.
The facility has a covered basketball court with seats, an office room, and toilets. It can also be used by the residents of Barangay Ibayo-Tipas for other occasions.
The city government plans to create additional multipurpose buildings in their city to serve the citizens of Taguig.
Meanwhile, the Super Health Center in Barangay Ligid-Tipas, which has three floors, has also been opened.
