New knowledge in science and technology was showcased and studied at the recently held 2023 Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW) by the Department of Science and Technology - National Capital Region (DOST-NCR) at SM Aura in Taguig City.
With the theme "Science, Technology, and Innovation: Partner for a Robust, Comfortable, and Secure Future," the importance of science, technology, and innovation in creating a future capable of facing everything has been elevated.
Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano was the guest of honor at the opening of the three-day event. She stated that this year's RSTW theme is synonymous with their aspirations in Taguig for a changing, vibrant, and caring city, aiming for a better future for its citizens.
Among the events that took place were exhibits of technologies and innovations in science, hands-on interactive demonstrations, panel discussions, and more.
Also present at the opening ceremony were DOST Undersecretary for Regional Operations, Engr. Sancho A. Mabborang; and DOST-NCR Regional Director Engr. Romelen T. Tresvalles.
