According to the released Memorandum Circular No. 76 from Malacañang this Friday, it is stated that frontline workers in government offices will still be working.

"However, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services," according to the Malacañang directive.

Private companies in Manila and Pasay are also given the discretion to suspend work if they wish.

Initially, the INC peace rally was supposed to take place at Liwasang Bonifacio in Manila.

Similar gatherings by the INC will also be held on the same day in Legazpi (Albay), Ilagan (Isabela), and Puerto Princesa (Palawan) in Luzon; Cebu, Iloilo, and Bacolod (Negros Occidental) in the Visayas; and in Davao, Pagadian (Zamboanga del Sur), Butuan (Agusan del Norte), and Cagayan de Oro (Misamis Oriental) in Mindanao.

The INC peace rally is in support of the position of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., advocating for the avoidance of chaos in the country and opposing the impeachment against Vice President Sara Duterte.
