One of the five suspects implicated in the shooting and murder of a 53-year-old real estate agent in Taguig City has been apprehended. The victim was inside his vehicle when the crime occurred at 5:00 PM on June 15, 2024.

The individual, known locally as Ali, was arrested on June 19, 2024, by officers from the Taguig City Police Substation 6 after a witness provided a description of him.

The four remaining suspects, known by the aliases Utok Kamar, Nasrudin, Jaylon, and Kylie, are still at large.

According to the witness, the five suspects were seen waiting on Pamela Street in Barangay South Signal, Taguig City on the afternoon of June 15.

The suspect known as Ali had even warned the witness to leave the area. After the witness turned away, they heard consecutive gunshots and saw the suspects fleeing towards Kangkungan in Barangay New Lower Bicutan, carrying the weapon used.

The victim, a resident of San Pedro, Laguna, had traveled to Taguig for a client meeting, according to his daughter.

Prior to the shooting, the daughter of the victim revealed that he was carrying a bag containing a laptop, cash, and other important documents.

The last person he spoke with on his mobile phone was a business contact, according to police reports.
