The City Government of Taguig will conduct a Operation Mega Libreng Tuli this Monday, July 15, 2024, for those who have not yet availed of their free circumcision program during the community visits of doctors and nurses from the Taguig Medical Assistance Office.

Operation Mega Libreng Tuli will be held from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Multipurpose Building 2, Veterans Road, Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig City.

All uncircumcised males in Taguig are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to receive free circumcision, regardless of age.

The City Government of Taguig has already conducted free circumcision operations in various barangays during the end of the school year, benefiting hundreds of young boys.

In addition to the operation, the beneficiaries are also provided with free antibiotics, pain relievers, and guidance on the proper care of their circumcision.

Children undergoing the operation need to have eaten beforehand or bring food to eat while waiting.

Also bring:
- Consent Form available at your local barangay
- Identification (ID) Card of the patient and guardian

The Free Circumcision Operation is an annual program of the City Government of Taguig City with the aim of alleviating expenses and ensuring the health of young boys in Taguig.

Circumcision is an operation where the skin covering the head of the male organ, known as the foreskin, is removed.

There are health benefits to this procedure such as an easier to clean genital area, a decreased chance of urinary tract infections (UTIs), a reduction in the risk of sexually transmitted infections, help in preventing genital problems especially if the skin of the uncircumcised is difficult to pull back for cleaning, and a reduced risk of penile cancer.
