A mission order was issued by BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco against three illegal foreigners who had overstayed their allotted time in the country and were found to be working without permits in the said location.

However, when the raid was carried out, they discovered over 100 foreigners working in an illegal online gaming hub set up within the resort.

The BI is looking into the possibility of filing cases against the resort owner for harboring these illegal foreigners.

"We will suggest to the authorities to file cases against resort owners to allow their properties to be used by illegal aliens in their covert operations. This will serve as a warning to those who might attempt to start illegal online gambling operations, which has already been banned by the President," said Tansingco.

The over 100 arrested foreigners will undergo inquest proceedings before being detained at the BI Warden Facility in Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig.
