At the affordable price of P50, the public can watch movies in various cinemas nationwide through the "Sine Sigla sa Singkwenta" program brought by the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

In celebration of the 50th year of MMFF, popular and historic films from the past 50 years that participated in the MMFF will be screened.

Fifty MMFF films can be watched for just P50 per viewing from September 25 to October 15, 2024.

The initiative aims to recognize the MMFF's decades-long contributions to the Philippine film industry and celebrate the evolution of MMFF films throughout the years.

"With the Sine Sigla sa Singkwenta screenings, we will bring some of the most memorable MMFF films back to the big screen for just 50 pesos, allowing both new audiences and long-time fans to experience the magic of those beloved films once again. These films represent some of the best of what the MMFF has offered over the past five decades," said Atty. Don Artes, Acting Chairman of the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and Overall Concurrent Chairman of the MMFF.

Some of the films underwent the process of restoration, quality enhancements, and remastering to enhance the clarity of the movies.

However, there were also some old films that were left untouched to maintain their original production.

The following cinemas will be screening the fifty films of MMFF:

SM Cinema, Robinsons Movie World, Ayala Malls Cinema, Megaworld Cinemas, Gateway Cineplex 18, Fisher Box Office, Shangri-La Plaza Cinema, Red Carpet Cinema, and Vista Cinema.
