The District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) of the Southern Police District (SPD), in cooperation with the District Intelligence Division (DID), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency - Southern District Office (PDEA-SDO), District Special Operations Unit (DSOU), District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB), and Sub-Station 10 of the Taguig City Police Station, conducted a buy-bust operation around 10:15 pm on August 6.
An authority disguised as a buyer and when cash and suspected drugs were exchanged, authorities arrested individuals known by the aliases Mark, 50, Romaila, 32, Kailyn, 20, and Mohiddin, 26.
The confiscated drugs have been submitted to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.
The arrested suspects will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
