During their press conference held at The Atrium of Enderun Colleges in Taguig City, the PBA Board stated they are also on the lookout for additional sponsors to provide further aid for those devastated by the typhoon.

Former players of Gilas Pilipinas will also contribute to the relief efforts for the typhoon victims, as has been their tradition during past disasters, according to Chot Reyes, former coach of Gilas Pilipinas and current coach of TNT.

The Game 1 of the Finals took place at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo City last October 27, with TNT winning Game 1.

The PBA's earnings from Game 1 will be sent to those affected by Typhoon Kristine through the Alagang Kapatid Foundation, Incorporated of TV 5 Network, Inc.
