The Office of the City Veterinarian (OCV) of Taguig will be conducting a Pet Caravan in Barangay Upper Bicutan on December 4, 2024, offering free rabies vaccination, neutering, deworming, and microchipping.

The City Government of Taguig invites Taguig residents who own dogs and cats to bring their pets to the Purok Dos Multi-purpose Building, Barangay Upper Bicutan, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Among the free services that Taguig residents can avail of for their pets include:
• Pet Deworming
• Anti-rabies vaccination
• Pet Consultation
• Pet Microchipping
• Vitamin shots and medications after consultation with OCV veterinarians
• Free neutering (walk-ins are allowed, but those who come first will be served first. Each owner can only have two pets neutered)
Participants just need to bring the following:
• Valid ID with an address in Taguig or an EMBO barangay
• Updated anti-rabies vaccination card of the pet (if available)
• Pet leash or cage
• Tissue paper, rag, and plastic bag for pet waste
• Ensure that the pet has a diaper and bring an extra one before entering the entrance. No diaper, no entry.
• Put a mouth cover or muzzle if the pet is aggressive
For deworming, the following is required:
• Ensure that the pet dog or cat is healthy
• The pet should be at least 2 weeks old
For anti-rabies vaccination, the following is required:
• Ensure that the dog or cat is healthy and disease-free
• A minimum age of 3 months
• If the pet is female, it should not be in heat, pregnant, or nursing
• Has not bitten anyone in the past 14 days
For neutering cats, the following is required:
• Must be at least 6 months old and weigh at least 3 kilos
• Female cats should not be pregnant, nursing, or in heat
• Must be healthy and not have been sick in the past 2 weeks
• Has not bitten anyone in the past 14 days
• Must have fasted for 6-8 hours before neutering
For neutering dogs, the following is required:
• Must be at least 6 months old and weigh at least 4 kilos
• Female dogs should not be pregnant, nursing, or in heat
• Must be healthy and not have been sick in the past 2 weeks
• Has not bitten anyone in the past 14 days
• Must have fasted for 6-8 hours before neutering
