The Office of the City Veterinarian and the city government of Taguig will be conducting another Pet Caravan on December 6, 2023, at the Lakeshore Tent Hall, C6 Road, Barangay Lower Bicutan, Taguig City.
Taguig residents with pet dogs and cats are encouraged to bring their pets to the Pet Caravan at Lakeshore Hall from 8 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon.
The free services include deworming, rabies vaccinations, veterinary consultations, and vitamin injections for pets.
There will also be free microchipping for pets, however, this is limited to only 500 pets that their owners bring on the day of the Pet Caravan.
There will also be free spaying and neutering for pet dogs and cats but the number of accepted pets is also limited, so early queueing is required. Registration can also be done through this link to ensure a slot for spaying and neutering: https://bit.ly/SpayingAndNeuteringFormDecember2023
Wait for the confirmation email or text from the Office of the City Veterinarian and present it on the day of the spaying and neutering.
Pet owners need to bring their valid ID proving that they are residents of Taguig City, including the EMBO (Enlisted Men's Barrio) barangays on the day of the Pet Caravan.
Also bring the updated rabies vaccination of the pet, keep them restrained or leashed, and muzzle them if they are aggressive. It is also encouraged to put a diaper on the pet and bring your own cloth and plastic bag for the pet's waste.
Pets undergoing deworming must be disease-free and aged two weeks or older.
For those receiving the anti-rabies vaccine, they must be healthy, three months old or older, and have not bitten any person or animal in the past two weeks.
