Kasama rin sa imo-monitor ng DICT ang mga government apps para matiyak namang naibibigay nito ang tamang serbisyo at impormasyon.
Isasagawa ito sa pamamagitan ng Consumer Application Monitoring Systems (CAMS) platform, isang inisyatibo ng Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) ng DICT na inilunsad noong Setyembre 13 sa National Cybercrime Hub sa Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
Sinabi ni DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy na ang paglulunsad ng CAMS platform ay isang magandang oportunidad para sa kolaborasyon ng sektor na pribado at pamahalaan.
"This will be a useful tool to identify the performance and the problem with government applications. People often blame poor online services for connectivity although sometimes the problems are in poor applications," ayon kay Uy.
Sinabi naman ni CICC Executive Director Alexander Ramos na ang platform ay makakatulong upang magkaroon kaalaman ang mga mamamayan.
"It's not a warning, but rather it's a tool. Our objective is to educate the public. People should understand we are not here to put down or to put up anyone. And, you know, we are here for the public to understand that there are options," ayon kay Ramos.
Sa pamamagitan ng CAMS platform, malalaman ng mga mamimili kung ano ang aplikasyon na mahusay sa eksaktong panahon. Maaari ring makita ng mga pribadong kumpanya at mga ahensiya ng gumagamit ng aplikasyon ang performance ng kanilang mga aplikasyon at sa pamamagitan nito ay maisasaayos pa ng husto ang kanilang serbisyo.
"Definitely, all the popular apps will be monitored here as part of the consumer protection of CICC. We are going to monitor the performance up until the public gets their money's worth," ayon kay Ramos.
Ang proyekto ay nabuo sa pakikipagtulungan ng Mozark Pte Ltd., isang pangunahing digital company na nakabase sa Singapore at Pilipinas.
