Sa personal na pagtungo ni Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano sa Upper Bicutan Elementary School, at nakuhanan ng netizen na si Laurio Aiza, sinabi nitong ang mga nasa elementarya ay makatatanggap ng tatlong pares ng polo shirts at dalawang long pants sa mga kalalakihan, at tatlong pares ng blouses at dalawang palda sa mga kababaihan. Mayroon din silang dalawang pares ng medyas, 1 pares ng itim na sapatos, 1 P.E. shirt at 1 jogging pants. Binigyan din sila ng bags at kumpletong school supplies. May dagdag na health kit pa ang mga nasa elementarya. Ang mga high school naman ay may dagdag na rubber shoes.
"More than the material things na itu-turn over, ang presence po natin ngayon ay testament sa kahandaan nating lahat to really support our learners, to really support their dreams and aspirations in life, and to do our best to show them that we are ready to cooperate. Handa tayong magkaisa pag ang pinag-usapan ay ang kanilang future," ayon kay Cayetano.
Malugod namang tinanggap ng Administrative Officer ng Pitogo High School ang mga ipinamigay na school supplies ni Cayetano sa kanilang mag-aaral. Ayon kay Dr. Mary Rose M. Roque, "it's a day of significance, a day that we come together to welcome and embrace change, growth and the promise of the future."
"The act of receiving these supplies signifies the transition of one phase to another, a transition that is marked by anticipation, enthusiasm, and a sense of readiness, to explore the uncharted territories of knowledge. Therefore equipping our very own students the means to express themselves and flourish," dagdag ni Roque.
