The Chinese hacker associated with a Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) recently raided in Porac, Pampanga has been identified.

Currently detained at the Bureau of Immigration (BI) detention center in Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City is Lin Qiude, 40 years old, who was arrested by the Fugitive Search Unit (FSU) of BI and law enforcement officers in Poro Point Freeport, San Fernando, La Union on July 20, 2024.

Lin is said to be one of the leaders in Lucky South 99, the alleged operator of the POGO hub that was raided in Porac, Pampanga, where several individuals were reportedly being held against their will and some were even mistreated.

Lin is also wanted in China for fraud. An arrest warrant has been issued by the prosecutor of Anxi County against him.

Lin is also allegedly involved in hacking banks in the United States, Middle East, and Europe.

According to the Immigration Bureau, they will process the documents to deport Lin back to China to face his charges.

Meanwhile, a leisure hub was found by authorities in Barangay Siñura in Porac, Pampanga, not far from the POGO hub of Lucky South 99 in the same area.

An indoor firing range and an underground tunnel were discovered here. The Pampanga Police suspect this to be the hideout of key Chinese nationals involved in POGO in Porac, Pampanga and Bamban, Tarlac.
