The medal was personally pinned on Nartatez by the Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief, Police General Rommel Francisco Marbil, who appointed Nartatez as the new Deputy Police Chief for Administration, the second highest position in the PNP.

Nartatez was appointed as NCRPO Chief last year, and under his leadership, 1,139 NCRPO personnel who committed violations were penalized and 458 were dismissed from their posts.

As of yesterday, Police Major General Sidney Herrera, former head of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group, has replaced him after the former NCRPO Chief was promoted.

In an interview with the media, including Jayson Pulga and Dexter Terante from Taguig.com, Nartatez shared the latest news about the recently concluded Certificate of Candidacy filing in the National Capital Region, which he said was generally peaceful.
