At exactly 1:30 in the afternoon on January 2, 2025, the replicas of the Black Nazarene will be blessed in the aforementioned location in Quiapo, according to Silgen Cabrito of the Social Communications Department of Quiapo Church.
A Novena Mass will also be held in the minor basilica at 12:15 p.m. The Papal Nuncio to the Philippines, Archbishop Charles Brown, will lead the mass.
The blessing of the replicas and banners is part of the celebration of the Feast of the Black Nazarene on January 9, 2025.
The replicas will also be paraded a few days before the largest procession of the Black Nazarene, or the Traslacion, which will carry the image from Quirino Grandstand in Luneta to Quiapo Church.
