Under the resolution, the first district will include the barangays of Comembo, Pembo, and Rizal, while the second district will include Cembo, South Cembo, East Rembo, West Rembo, Pitogo, Post Proper Northside, and Post Proper Southside.

The resolution in Congress states that this is in immediate response to the desire of the registered voters of the 10 EMBO barangays to exercise their right to vote and choose their representation.

"In response to the expression of the will of the people of Taguig and to ensure that 208,716 registered voters in the 10 EMBO barangays are not disenfranchised and the 336,873 residents are not left without representation in the House of Representatives, the EMBO barangays are hereby apportioned to the two legislative districts of the City of Taguig and the Municipality of Pateros," the concurrent resolution reads.

It also mentions the increase in councilors in Taguig, where the number will rise from 8 to 12 councilors per Councilor District of Taguig City.
