Felizmeña snagged the Miss Congeniality award in the beauty and intelligence pageant of Taguig women held at the Taguig City University Auditorium on Saturday, May 25, 2024.
Felizmeña claimed that she has proven that even as a senior citizen, it's never too late. According to her, she could not ask for more in life since she has experienced everything. She also felt younger due to frequently being in the company of her fellow candidates, who exude high levels of energy.
Thanks to the removal of the maximum age limit and civil status restrictions, Felizmeña was able to enter the competition.
She also advised her fellow youthful candidates to persist in their lives and continue striving for their dreams after seeing some of them cry when they didn't even make it to the top 15 of the competition.
Felizmeña won the Remarkable Grandmother title back in 2017.
The winner of Mutya ng Taguig 2024 was Alessandra Leanne Plantado from Barangay Central Signal. The first runner-up was Danielle Mariz Lamptey from Barangay Central Bicutan, second runner-up was Charish Apple Arellon from Barangay Santa Ana, third runner-up was Yllana Marie Macapagal from Barangay Bagumbayan, and fourth runner-up was Aubrey Ysabelle Delos Reyes from Barangay South Signal.
