Joseph Rupa, a 27-year-old security guard, is implicated in a murder following a robbery incident in Arca South, Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig City on July 2, 2024.
It was learned that a man was walking in Arca South when Rupa accosted him and seized his bag containing a laptop and cell phone.
The victim fought back, prompting Rupa to grab a large stone and strike the man's head. This resulted in the man's death.
Acting on a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Antonio Murillo Olivete of the Regional Trial Court Branch 267 in Taguig, Rupa was arrested by the Taguig City police and the Southern Police District at his residence in Barangay Western Bicutan. No bail recommendation has been made for his case.
