The Korean Cultural Center (KCC) is set to present a showcase of South Korean and Philippine sports at the Bonifacio Global City Arts Center on August 9, 2024.

This is in continued celebration of the 75th anniversary of the favorable relationship between South Korea and the Philippines.

From the Globe Auditorium, the "Sticks & Kicks: Phil-Kor National Sports Demonstration" can be seen, where leading athletes from the Philippines and Korea will demonstrate their prowess.


From Korea, Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters, will exhibit their excellence in Taekwondo, unveiling the art, discipline, and spirit of this martial art.

From the Philippines, the Philippine Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation (PEKAF) will display their skills in arnis, the national sport of the Philippines, demonstrating the techniques, movements, and methods of this sport.

NARA, the traditional performing team of the Korean Cultural Center, and the Philippine Baranggay Folk Dance Troupe will also impress with their showcase of historic Philippine dances.
