The class opening for the school year 2024 to 2025 in Taguig City on July 29, 2024, was successfully and smoothly conducted.
A soft opening was carried out on Saturday in public schools in Taguig, where the city government distributed free uniforms and school supplies to students.
There are more than 190,000 students in 52 public schools in Taguig.
The Taguig City Government and the Department of Education - Taguig Pateros thanked all their partners, including parents, students, and teachers, for the successful opening of classes, as well as for their help in the week-long Brigada Eskwela before classes started.
Brigada Eskwela is a collaborative effort to clean and prepare public schools to ensure a safe and orderly learning environment for the students.
Last Saturday, Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano visited CP Sta. Teresa Elementary School and Upper Bicutan National High School to distribute free uniforms and learning materials.
On Monday, the mayor visited Western Bicutan National High School and Tenement Elementary School.
